Hey guys, I had a quick question regarding my FX chain set up with the SLO 100.

I have the following Gear:
Early 2000's stock SLO100 in red/black snake skin w/ matching Soldano 4x12 cabinet
TC electronics G-Major (original) ran into the SLO loop
Digitech JAMman Stereo looper
EBtech Line level shifter to bring the looper to line level db's

What I am trying to accomplish is running the G-major through the SLO100 FX loop, and using the LLS and the looper to build backing tracks.

The issues that I am running into, are that the gain channel distorts everything previously looped with the clean channel.

Can someone please help me get my FX chain in order. I have the Gmajor running thorough the FX loop, and love the sound, but I can't figure out how to put the line level shifter and the Jamman into the chain without the gain channel distorting my previously recorded loops.

I've messed around with a bunch of different set ups and can't seem to figure this out for the life of me. I'm sure its something simple, but any help would greatly appreciated. I've considered a W/D/W set up as well, but I can't seem to wrap my head around all of this stuff for some reason, and now i'm frustrated at my inability to do so, lol.

looking for possibly a visual explanation of how to route things.... Thanks in advance everyone!

lol, I understand why it's happening, just not sure how to fix it... Would running another amp that is slaved to the Slo100 allow me to record clean channel loops and then switch to the OD channel, so long as the second amp is the one playing the loop back? Just trying to figure out the best fix for situation.

There are still gain stages after the stock SLO loop so it'll distort your pre-recorded cleans.

Dry/wet would work the best. Hook the slave out to your effects then run into a solid state power amp. I found the Soldano slave outs sound better into solid state power amps than tube ones. It's a tap from the output transformer.
