Some Hendrix on a Dual Recto

I've always been impressed by how versatile these amps are. There was a discussion on another forum about them and somebody mentioned they can get Hendrix tones from their Recto. I got curious so I fired up the 90's DR, plugged in a strat, and started twisting knobs to see how close I could get mine. Please excuse the clumsy playing.

Mids 10:30

I'm kinda surprised, I think the tone is a lot closer than I thought I'd be able to get.
Just thought you guys might be interested in hearing how versatile it turns out these amps can be.


Note:
The high noise floor is coming from my rig, not the amp itself. The amp is dead silent, even under a lot of gain. Actually it's one of the quietest high gain amps I've played.

Nice playing! I feel like you need to wind that treble up, just what my ragged old ears want to hear. Do it again with treble up at -3 o'clock if you get the chance...humor me.
