I'd love to hear him play live sometime this year, with a big SDD-320-like sound.

What a fantastic clip      .

A lesson in how to play perfect rhythm and keep it interesting.

Beautiful tones too... I wonder what rig he's using there ??

Heritage.. Who is that girl in your avatar ?????????????????
Awesome

I am one to admit that I was never a big Steve Stevens fan, and at some point, more than likely new nothing about him. That all changed when a very good friend of mine in the music industry turned me on to everything Steve Stevens. Now I must admit that I was missing out all those years. Steve is a fantastic player (now one of my favorites) and his tone is amazing! Not too mention everything I hear leads me to believe he is a great guy! A win on all three accounts!

Steve Stevens is an amazing player, great vibe, great tone, always tasteful and fits the parts. He makes those Billy Idol songs what they are. In other words, he's got the mojo.

The one thing I don't like about Steve Stevens is his absurd hair cut and make up and the fact that he looks like a 40 something cougar. Seriously. He dresses like a chick. He's still awesome though!

From the "Whiplash Smile" tour 1987, this is the Charvel Glow..I have two of the Whiplash Smile tour CD boots and two "Atomic Playboys" shows that absolutely rule.
Parts of Steve's playing on this tour, which was the first time I saw SS/Idol Philadelphia, sounded like the Band of Gypsys to me!! He also included Munster's Rag in one of his solos, before Brad Paisley even!!

I know this guy whose channel this is and hope he releases more from this show. The "Flesh For Fantasy" and "Eyes Without a Face". "Blue Highway" will blow your mind!!
Steve still has two of his 1993 Washburn's, here is wife Josie pictured with the prototype SS-100 Frankenstein behind her.

The #1 production SS-100 Washburn Frankenstein, not the same as SS's personal guitar. His was handbuilt by Terry Atkin's at Washburn's Custom Shop.
