I really liked it. Great playing and the guitar tone was killer.

I needed this. I have been shred deprived for a while. Thanks for posting :D

I heard these guys on a local metal station in NJ, WSOU 89.5 Yeah, these guys shred it up. In this day and age I actually think it's refreshing to see. I guess it gets tiresome but I appreciate the chops, and the rhythm tones don't surprise me that it's Recto but lead sounds are cool coming from it.

nice. my good friend is in a very popular cover band and i always ask him to play some heavier songs but says they can't unless they want to play to a club's 4 walls and 4 musicians sitting at the bar listening HAHA. He is right unfortunately, i went to go see him at bar a 2 weeks ago and the place was filled with women so i guess imagine dragons stays on the setlist

Damn that sure looks like mike hufnagel, my other guitarist was jamming with him for a while. Great player!

not something I'd want to listen to for very long but the guy can clearly play his ass off!

yeah that IS mike lMAO, ill point him to this page.

Thanks for posting that was an enjoyable listen, and it’s great to see a younger generation put in a lot of time learning their craft and working really hard on technique and musicality.

It’s really easy to just slag this kind of stuff as unmusical or whatever derogatory adjective of your choice, but I would bet the guys saying that could NEVER EVER play anything even close to that level of accomplishment because if they could they would not be popping shit but instead accolades of respect and praise.

I only listened for about 1:30 but it did sound great.
Good playing.

Same here...I appreciate the talent and technique but it's not something I can listen to for any significant length time.

Sounds great! Big thumbs up.

It doesn't matter what you put up for critique, there's always someone who won't like it. That doesn't bother me at all - I don't enjoy that particular style of whatever, or too many notes not enough feels - at least the observation and comment are honest and don't reflect malice. There are some comments that you can tell the poster is just being a dick because he can. I don't see it happening on here too often but some other boards that's about the only comment that you ever get. Mostly it comes from the tru kvlt metal knuckle draggers where if it's not their exact definition of metal, then it's absolutely worthless.

Those people suck. And thats all I have to say about that...

Why do 'metal-sounding' band names end up in poppy/indie stuff?

Can't we collectively put a ban on bands with names that suggest they rock more than they actually do?

I mean, when R.J. Dio (may he R.I.P.) sang about Dragons, he sure as hell wasn't hoping for some hipsters to misuse the word, right... :gethim: :gethim:

My recto never sounded that good. I could not solo on my DR no matter what I tried. Im impressed he got his weedly weedly on through a DR !

I was playing my friends Rectoverb this past weekend. It had plenty of gain for huge sounding crunch. For leads I thought it was ok but a Tube Screamer was all it really needed. Level maxed on the pedal and gain set low.

My recto has a KILLER lead tone with a clean boost.

People are assholes and are perfectly happy with themselves, good for them. Kinda funny though if someone hates this stuff and keeps bumping my thread.
