Just mic to preamp and hipass and lopass haha. Thanks for the kind words. Oh and might I add I used an sm58 rather than my 57 bc my 57 just was not jiving well this go round.

Thanks for the info. I've been setting my hipass at 130. I haven't been setting a lopass...may have to try that.

Oh yeah, which channel did you have the 5150 III on?

That sounds fantastic! I can hear a lot of power metal potential in there too, but maybe because I love it too much.

I need to find people who play music like this to start a band. Too many people around here want to play too generic of metal with, like others stated, lame-ass growl/scream vocals.
