Here are more clips of my Mojave Peacemaker with the Custom 45 and Brown Eye Mods.

Custom 45 - THD Hotplate - Bright Switch - Deep Switch

Custom 45 - THD Hotplate - Deep Switch

Brown Eye - THD Hotplate - Bright Switch - Deep Switch

A little more in the Classic Marshall vein this time!

Sounds Great! Where was the gain set on the Brown Eye Clip?

I had the Preamp on 10 and the Volume on 5. I used the THD Hotplate to tame the amp a little. It was still freakin loud! LOL The clips sound good... but man.. you should hear it in person!

I will shortly, I have one on the way.

Thanks guys.. yeah.. this amp is really blowing my mind. When I play solo stuff it really comes to life. Each note is bold and thick!

Guys, a friend of mine added some wetness to my clip with an Eventide Eclipse! Here it is:

Sounds better with a little bit of Reverb and Delay!

glad you finally got the peacemaker to work for you!

Well, it was modded by another guy before him.. and that guy messed up the inside of the amp. Dave told me the amp was a mess and a pain in the butt to fix! LOL Dave modded another guys Peacemaker that I know. His name is StuntDouble. Remember him from the Plexi Palace? He's on Metroamp also!

Those are NICE examples of Dave's BE/C45 work.... Your clips are fairly clean even with the Gain on 10! I find the BE/C45/HBE mods keep it pretty clean and are not overly saturated; but that's a good thing since they stay VERY punchy and tight but have a super growl and snarl! Too much gain = mush and no definition....

exactly (above) the clarity and string definition is really great on these things...no artificial sounding after taste on the distortion, just round and thumpy with nice snarl on the top end. I really find plenty of gain using the BE/C45 for everything from guns to ratt and lynch. I'm using lower gain seymour pearly gates humbuckers as well (8.3k).

That's killer.... I love my BE/C45 amp and it's a lot of fun to play live when ya can crank it up; it actually "cleans-up" when the Master goes up and gets very woody and chunky-sounding (my Cameron LG "Jose" works the same way, but in a tad different way)... Never tried those SD PG pickups.... I put BBQ Buckers on my Les Pauls (bridge slot) and they are a tad too hot for me now! They sound good wired in series/parallel, but in full series/bucker they is really fat and distorted! And ya hafta have the four-wired p/u's to do that series/parallel wiring...

Thanks! I am loving this amp. Dave really knows his tone! It has the correct amount of gain and the right amount of punch. I am thinking about filling my mahogany strat with the WCR American Steele set. Either that... or save up for a WCR Les Paul style guitar like James Lugo had in his video with the American Steele. Wouldn't that be freakin cool?

LOL Well, James Lugo's clips are wicked with them... so I imagine they are excellent. I talked to WCR on the phone a few days ago to ask questions. They know tone and know what they are talking about!
