8.9k/A2 bridge and 7.6k/A2 necks. The bridge is slightly scatter wound to tame the brightness and rigidity and to help the A2 give the pickup the feel of a higher output pickup
I also have a bf Dual Showman with 2x15 original JBL loaded cab. And a Vox AC15. And a Mesa .50 Caliber + that is quite bf Deluxe-ish. You want cleans, we can do cleans. Crunch? No problem.
That Splawn, @Junk Yard Dog owns it. It's great. Big, full, huge mid content, plenty of low end, that can be a lil loose n grungy, or tight and thrashy. It's a beast. I had a Street Rod before, and did not jive with the mids and bass on that amp. They just hit me in a weird way. This one is much more appealing, hung just fine with the Mezza, SLO, Rocca and X. Honestly, I'm pretty sure I could live with just that for an amp if I spent some quality time with it. But where's the fun in that?
