'Rumblin Train' has my favorite Jake solo and solo tone. Just badass in every way.

When the first album came out, most of the people I knew were not impressed with the production because it didn't sound as polished as other albums of the time period. I disagreed. That is what a rock guitar SHOULD sound like. Raw, real, and in your face. Great vocals too, Ray was one of my favorites.

Those guys meant what they were playing. Trixter, Firehouse...not so much I would think.

Agree 100% - I just LOVE that ragged, raw edge that was like "falling down the stairs and landing on your feet" kind of rock recording!!!
