A gorgeous 'Grafted Walnut' top which is an actual botanical graft between two Walnut species, in this case, 'Claro' and 'Franquette'

-very old one piece 'quatersawn' Sapelli Mahogany body
-very old one piece 'rift sawn' Afzelia 'Doussié' neck
-Grafted Walnut (Franquette + Claro) top
-West African Ebony fingerboard, 12'' radius, 24 frets, 25.5'' scale
-'white ebony' rear control cavity cover
-Hipshot bridge, Sperzel tuners
-Hufschmid 'TECHTRON' nut
-Hufschmid 'HufGlow' fingerboard inlays
-Custom handmade Hufschmid pickups by Kent Armstrong

I've been drooling over your website lately. I have become a huge fan of being able to see and feel the grain of the timber. This is just another stunning example.

The thing that interests me most is that you use a tracing of the players hand to help shape the neck profile. This has to be the most custom and unique thing I have seen. I am so curious how a neck would feel crafted from my hand tracing.
