Paid very little for this late 90's/early 00's JCM 900 1960A today. Glad to add one back into the mix.
I forgot how very snappy and quick the G12T75s are in both the highend & lowend response. Crispy & chunky.
This cab came from a local band so the speakers are very well exercised and they sound like it.
All my other cabs are 8 ohms but I'm pairing it with my otherwise sole 16 ohm cab, a V30 loaded Krank 412.
These are great cabs for thrash and death metal.

Nice.

I need to find more cabs. Five isn't enough.
I'm back to 5 again myself. Getting hard to find good used cabs at good prices around here nowadays. They mostly are either new or recent production Marshalls and Mesa cabs that people price just below new or really crappy low tier cabs with crap wood and speakers. There's an Emperor 412 that just popped up locally that I'm watching tho but it's pricey.

There's a guy about 2.5 hours away from me that has some slick looking "Marshall" straight cabs that don't seem like a terrible price. He says they're likely Avatar or Mojotone but I don't recognize the jack plate on the back. It has Whitebox A15 on it, and apparently they used to make cabs. Anywho, they're loaded with WGS Green Berets.

Yes Whitebox Cabs gained popularity back in 2010ish when the affordable Avatar custom cab craze was in full swing. They did well at the time and were good quality. They may have been associated with Jet City if I remember correctly.

I have 2, and kinda want 2 more. Have to make more room, cuz space is limited.
