Do you remember the Guitar for the Practising Musician magazine article where Lynch was quoted as saying Page was a casualty, and that Jeff Beck was the only one of those 60s guys that had maintained a sense of contemporary sound ? Where is THAT George Lynch ? You will find no bigger fan of this guy than me...believe me. But almost everything he's done since Dysfunctional SUCKS. That video SUCKS. To say he's having an off night...Jesus Christ ! Jon Levin sounds more like Lynch than Lynch does at this point...Norum would slay him...back in the day ? He was the BEST ! Not anymore man...not any more.

I thought it was cool. Tone sounded good to me.
I've always thought the best part of his technique is his vibrato. The subtleties within his phrasing are what makes his style so captivating IMO. There is a kind of evil anxiety and desperation in his sound. I don't think anyone has ever come close to replicating that.
