Some songs I recorded last summer with the Axe Fx

OK, so, last summer I splurged and bought an Axe Fx, a new Imac, Logic 9, Addictive Drums, a crappy presonus interface and....some other crap. Got it all around the same time and was a real newb at all of it. My tones are all over the place. Mixes are all over the place, etc, etc. I did these all within about a week, which I know is rushing it, but I wanted to do SOMETHING. But I thought I'd share it as a lot of people are interested in a lot of the stuff I used.

The guy on vocals is my best friend of 20 years who is dying of a rare nerve desiese (spinal NF) and is in extreme pain 24 hours a day, but he's determined to keep doing what he love to do until he can't do it anymore.

P.S. After I recordd this stuff, shit hit the fan finacially for me and I had to sell most of my stuff. Then I shattered my heel at work. So now I'm allmost back to doing some new stuff and I can't wait!!

Shit, I didn't think people would have to register to just play songs.....that sucks. I'll look into it.

And yeah, the Camerons still sound best too me too. Got my first Fortin coming next week though

Hey thanks buddy. I told Mike how much I liked your amp (from your clips). He mentioned that he had your amp and was putting a clean channel in it a couple weeks ago. Mine gets shipped tomorrow!! Can't freakin WAIT!!

I'm very very sorry about your friend Jason. I had to watch my younger brother go through something very similar and then pass a few years ago. You feel helpless not being able do anything about their pain as the disease just continues to progress. One things for sure, your friend has got a fucking killer sounding set of pipes on him!

Yeah, we're going to record a disc, but I don't know if any of these songs will be on it. They were sort of a quick thing we did. As soon as I can start to walk and get around fairly well, we're going to start a more serious project.

And yeah man, it REALLY sucks watching somebody suffer and not be able to help them. All I can do is be there for him I guess, and have some fun while he/we can..
