Someone asked me how many guitars I've bought since moving to Japan. The answer is embarrassing actually (pic heavy)

i mean, alot of those are such amazing deals I can totally understand it

Even if it is alot

If had had the means, I probably would splurge in an environment like that too

I only have one guitar atm but it's because of necessity not because I think "that's all someone needs" or some bullshit like that

You have a Les Paul ain't nobody "need" anything if they got a Paul.

Which is exacty why I chose it for my one :hys:

With the coil splitting bullshit I can even decently in-between switch strat sounds if I absolutely have to

And with the smaller 60s style neck it's just fine for any woodshedding without getting hand cramps on a baseball bat

I certainly could use something pointy, a semi hollow, and a tele or strat, but I don't need any of em

I been liking the larger C shape Gibson necks myself. Been kind of jonesing to have an LP since I let the Edwards go, doh. Is it the chording that gives you hand cramps? That's usually what induces it for me but I don't play that much rhythm in a five piece much these days.

nah i get cramps when i do shreddy stuff

its mostly my fault because i have horrible hendrix thumb, and the two things dont mix well

I'm blessed at the moment. It's been a buyer market here since arriving. It's hard to sell, but if I came back to the states, I would rent a $500 booth at a guitar show and have fun with it. This doesn't count pedals Ive bought here or amps and guitars that I brought over. I have my Charvels, Chubtone, etc
This sounds great! I was fearing shipping prices, but I guess that’s covered?

If you indeed happen to catch an MX, please cut me a deal in future 🤘🏻
