I had one of those when I had my MOD50. It was mainly for allowing stomps in a line level only loop. IIRC you could either run it in front as the boost or the loop for the level adjustment, but not both simultaneously.

Any Multi effect can do this with 4CM. Just put the dist/OD in front and a boost/EQ in the loop. all can be summoned with one button.

I believe you could do this with a distortion pedal that has a loop in it , like a Timmy or some of the Amptweaker pedals . Run the distortion pedal into the front of the amp and run the boost pedal in the distortion pedal loop into the amp loop .
