Songs that you absolutely hate

Too Sweet. I don't even know or care who wrote it. It's the worst shit ever.

Do you have a list of songs that you really, really, really hate, to the point that you have to turn them off or you're going to end up stabbing someone.

Here's my list. These are all unbelievably detestable pieces of "music". I would rather hear nails on a chalkboard, a baby crying, a dog barking incessantly, you get the picture.

Sweet - Ballroom Blitz
4 Non Blondes - What's Going On
Aerosmith - Dude Looks Like a Lady
Joan Jett - Anything
Tragically Hip - Anything
RHPS - Time Warp
Billy Idol - Mony Mony
The fucking Locomotion by anyone
B52s - Love Shack & Rock Lobster
Cindy Lauper - Girls Just Wanna Have Fun
Of course anything by Kid Rock or Nickelback
Blind Melon - No Rain
Marcie Playground - Sex & Candy
Violent Femmes - Blister in the Sun
Toni Basil - Mickey
Pretty much anything by Offspring, Staind or Linkin Park
Everything by the Rolling Stones where Mick prances around like a homo.

I reserve the right to add to this list whenever I see fit.

Come on, gimme your list. I know you have one.

What I really want to know is why I actually like Staind a lot. I feel like I shouldn’t on principle, but something about them works for me.

I thought that was the joke, like he put on Zeppelin but not the right album.
I can contact Ratner and see what he says 😏? Talk about nuances of waaaay inside jokes. Btw; I wonder if he and “Stacy” ever ended up fucking ? Oddly, I think she played the whore in all of her movies.

I don't hate all their songs but the lead singers for Boston, Kansas, and Toto all grate on my nerves, I don't know why. When some says (correctly, I believe) that Boston is one of the best debut albums of all time, I can't get over Delp's voice.

I'm guessing the Toto one is Bobby Kimbal. His high notes can sound harsh sometimes.

He was sacked due to cocaine use and replaced by Dennis "Fergie" Frederiksen (the Isolation album), who's voice could be annoying.

Joseph Williams (John Williams' son) was arguably the best all-round singer IMHO. He did the Fahrenheit, The Seventh One, Toto XX, Falling in Between, Live in Poland (2014), Toto XIV and Old Is New albums. Dude pitched really-well and showed great expression IMHO.

I feel this. anything overly poppy from the early 2000s just makes me cringe.
