Same - it’s a shame, because they were one of my favourite bands as a teenager. The pre-Dookie stuff, Dookie and Insomniac I still like, but I increasingly dislike their newer stuff.

I agree with the RHCP comments. Their early drug induced funk stuff was so cool. Things like Dani California and Scar Tissue are hard to reconcile and make me want to kill myself they are so bad. Yet normie people loved that shit!

I'm a huge KISS fan as most of you know and I can listen to about anything by them, even if some songs are pretty cringe. The one song I can't listen to is "Let's Put the X in Sex". It is worse than listening to "The Elder" on a loop....

I love the Eagles, but I can relate to the overplayed nature. Phil Collins In the Air Tonight has been played so many times daily for decades that I'm absolutely sick of it. For years the station I had my alarm set to would play it every morning at the same time, and it seems like it's played every single time I turn the radio on (which I still listen to in the car). I do tend to turn off other songs as well like Hotel Cal, Don't Stop Believing and Africa just because they get played so much, but I don't hate them. In fact I own them on CD, but come on, these bands have plenty of other great songs you can play as well you know...

There are some bands that have a formula and songs that sound a certain way so I feel like I'd never like their stuff. Five Finger Deathpunch is one like that. I'm sure they are cool but their sound is too polished.
