Sonic weapon attacks

Or Cuban syndrome, where US personnel were attacked with some kind of sound waves resulting in extreme pain and some with permanent damage, seems to have disappeared from the news.
"National security" never admitted it was some type of weapon and more or less dismissed it as the personal health of each victim. Then nothing.
Has anyone else given any thought to this, what appears to be a strange new weapon basically dismissed by the military and diplomat service? Are they giving it the attention it deserves and keeping the population uninformed in the meantime?

Sonic weapons have been around for a while. Wikipedia even says military and police have been using them in limited capacity since 2023. I guess people are distracted by all the other ridiculous shit going on to pay attention to this.
