i played one of these in the 90's and thought it wasn't too bad!,..(back then i had jcm 800 50watter)...if my memory serves me right they were billed as the poor mans plexi,...and since i no longer have a marshall i was thinking that i might be able to fill the marshall void with a mig 100!!...i still see them available for dirt cheap!....anyone have or played one recently?....anyone have them modded??.....

I have not seen one in a long time .... I like them.

I owned one also. I never had an issue with mine. I got rid of it before I did. But everyone else I knew that had one all had problems with them. I'm thinking that's why you don't see them around anymore. They're probably in a landfill somewhere.

There was a pretty thorough discussion about the Migs on here recently. In short, yes, they are sort of a poor mans plexi. Although I think the Midget and 60 are the closest, with the 50 and 100 being more bassman style. I might be off though, I can hardly keep anything straight anymore.

I played through a Mig 100 one time at a gig. It must have been modded cuz it had a whole lot of gain. It was really loud, it pushed serious air through those speakers, I could feel it on my legs big time.I actually wanted to buy that thing, it was really nice.

I was in a band with a guy who made a signature sound with one of those and a metal zone pedal..Fukin sick tone very recognizable :D

basically an 800 with mods . the krank revolution 1 is a modified mig 100h.

i like the simplicity of them,...no,,actually love the simplicity!!,..i think i'm gonna grab one,..then find someone to mod it..
