I've seen people recommending 7581A's for SLO100 on this forum. So I bought a set to try it out. Recorded a quick comparison clip between it and the stock 5881's.
More differences than I initially expected. The 5881's have more forward mids, the 7581A's have bigger low end but less mids and slightly smoother treble.
Not sure which one I like more. Might be cool to mix them, but seems like SLO100 uses the same bias trim pot for all 4 tubes?
