SPAM: Caparison Horus Custom "Maple Cloud"

Sorry Mark but I have to agree, if it didnt come from the factory that way, it should be divulged in the Auction. Pick-ups and Harware are a given usually if they've been changed most people know, but when you start swapping necks that something a little different, and should be said in the Auction.

Just my opinion......

Sorry.

:D

You know what Mega, the fact that you make no mention of this being a parts guitar in the auction but then include all the case candy from another guitar and a photo of "made in japan" makes the whole thing look pretty misleading, IMO.

Not misleading at all IMO. All the "parts" are 100% Caparison stuff. It's a body from one Caparison and a neck from another Caparison.

My bad. You're right, someone expecting to get a professionally assembled guitar but getting one that you put together, but choose to include the warranty card from another guitar with, isn't misleading at all.

Speaking of Caps, there have been a lot on Ebay lately for a near decent price from a seller from Japan (Yahoo-something). Do you know of him or people that have bought from him?
My buddy wants the Snowcloud he has for 1400$

Yeah he's a legit seller. Takes horrible pictures though.

It truly takes a professional guitar tech to screw on 4 bolts. Very very difficult and took all of 1 minute.

Yeah, I guess you're right. You know way more than me about what Caparisons are worth. I've only owned 18 of them, sold 15 of them for profit, broke even on 2, and am selling this one right now. I remember when I bought that violin looking Venus for $1600. After every single person on the forum laughed at the guitar and called me a moron for "wasting" that much money on a "piece of shit like that" I sold it for $3200. I understand that you think the guitars are "overpriced" but that doesn't matter, I know what they're actually worth. ;)

In case you're blind or can't read, the starting price is $2000 plus shipping and the BIN price is $2500 plus shipping.

I see what they sell for and I see the people who buy them. sure, Its worth whatever someone is willing to pay but big deal, youve owned a couple , it still doesnt make you an authority.

You fail on so many points its ridiculous.... I wasnt even looking to start shit, all I wanted to know was how much you wanted and I couldnt be bothered clicking on the link...

BTW, You could get 3k for it , it really doesnt mean its worth that to anyone other than you and the guy that coughs up the dough...

To me, It aint worth more than 1200-1400 and thats the only worth I care about.

I love bringing out the fanboi in you!!!

I'm just including the card, the warranty isn't valid. It's only valid if you buy the guitar from the dealer in your own country. Everyone that knows Caparisons knows that.

Look there's really no debating that your auction is misleading. You give the specs out as one of a kind custom guitar. You included the warranty card and all case candy. While it may be that the super caprison fanboys wouldn't be mislead by this auction, the average guitar buyer would be. And that is why you didn't mention that its a parts guitar. So you could get more money. I'm not going to report your auction or anything like that so relax, francis. But I do think you're being slimy and since you posted this on the board I threw my .02 in about that. If you're going to do something like this you should at least have the balls to say "yeah, I know, but its caveat emptor, bitches and I'm trying to get the best price I can" etc. rather than feebly trying to say that the auction isn't misleading when it clearly is. Carry on.

Cool, thanks for your 2 cents. :jerkit:

I don't need to know what your Friday nights are like, thx.
LMAO!!! FTW...

Its just too damn easy.... The hysterical part is that I was honestly asking how much without looking to start anything...

Personally, I like the the guitar and this one in particular is probably my favorite. Itll just never be worth that kind of money to me, especially when I can have something custom built , to my exact specs, for almost a grand less, thatll be just as good if not better to me.

Um, nobody would be getting "screwed" by buying the guitar.

Well....they won't get screwed so long as they caveat emptor and ask the right questions.....

A partscaster is still a partscaster tho :D

I really wanted there to be no pictures of the back of the neck tho'..you messed up my chance for prime 'humour' there ;)

Is the neck cracked, or is that only a bonus feature on your ibanez auctions? ;)
