No recess worked out just fine for Eddie, George, Warren, Ronni etc. It's good enough for me too. I actually don't like recessed Floyds.

Since a couple of people have PM'd me about the small ding on the back of the second guitar, the sunburst one. Here is a picture of where it is located and a close-up. It was very hard to get it onto the camera. As you can see this is very minor but I like to overdescribe any potential issues with the gear I sell.
