I have noticed my normal pedal board sounds horrible through the splawn??
I don't remember my last one having this problem??
Help??

V1 preamp tube checked out and time for replacement?

Dirty preamp sockets or 1/4” jacks?

gonna need more info than "horrible"

Horrible how? Are you using the loop, straight in, both?

There's no way anyone can really help without a bit more info

Effects loop use.
It just sounds horrible as I've used the same pedalboard live for years in many Mesa,Egnater,Bogner live. And the amp sounds like a Splawn should sound til I hook up the loop.It over exaggerates the pedals esp delays. Its got that frikin loop volume shit and pad and active buttons on the back. It's brand new and it a sounds great without pedals in it. Still sounds OK when effects aren't on but can tell it's missing something. It's not V1 tube or dirty sockets it's more of the way the loop reacts.

There are two level options for the loop: +4db and -10db. Toggle between the two...

How do you set your volumes?? Should it be in if it's only normal voltage pedals or out??

I've used a big pedalboard with my Quickrod with no issues. The pedals varied from 9v to 18v.
Live I max out the return volume on the Quickrod. I rarely lower it, even at home...

Try the Effects Loop Level switch in (-10db) and the loop master around 3:00-3:30. Works killer with my board.

Ok I'll give it a shot
Or sell it lol...Anybody want a Quickrod fitty?
