Speaker recommendation 2x12 Bogner cab

Hey Crew,

As I'm using my Uberschall mostly in a "studio environment" and space is a premium, and I don't need to have massive sonic projection (ie gigging, etc), I've decided to go with a 2x12 oversize cabinet. Now the questions are as follows (Tone Merchant please pipe in...):
1. This cab comes with V30's, max rating therefore is 120W, is this SAFE for an Uberschall?
2. Does this cab easily adapt to different speakers (ie G12Ks or G12Ts)?
3. If the cab adapts well, does anyone have experience with G12K100's or G12T75's in a 2x12 config?
4. Anyone out there using a oversize 2x12 cabinet with an Uberschall head??

1. Yes, unless you blast it at full volume all the time. You're getting too close to the limit of the speakers then.
2. I can't speak of the Bogner 2x12, but the 4x12 adapts very well to speaker changes. I've tried plenty in mine, all with good results.
3. Those may sound even better in a 2x12 config. than V30s, since they both will give a bigger sound than 2 V30s.
4. It should sound very good, but the ultimate match for the Uber will always be a 4x12.
 
:thumbsup: Coolio... Once again, seems TM came to me with some recommendations and it looks as though I'll be going with a 2x12 OS cab loaded with 1xV30 and 1xG12T75.

Done.

Oh, ya, just in case anyone was wondering, I absolutely LOVE my Uberschall... There's something very special about its tone - it hits the nail on the head in both the hot bridge position of my LP's and the classic Slash set up (neck pup, zero tone, full volume). Awesome.

It sounds great with v30/75 for recording, actually really really good!
 
:thumbsup: Well, apparently I've got 3 weeks to wait and the oversized, close-back 2x12 loaded with the above mentioned cones is arriving at my doorstep.

Pretty jazzed about this set up - and I bet, just a guess - it's gonna rock out at high volumes to boot.
