Stumbled across this. Some dude from the Funkymunky forum bought it. What a killer guitar. Proto #1. I have an ash version which is a total blast to play.

Speaking of Nuno, Extreme is playing Pornograffitti in its entirety in Japan. Let's hope they add some US dates this summer.

I have been contemplating how to fly out there in April. ;)

Hopefully they will at least put together a Blu Ray DVD of the show.

What is the difference between the N6 and the NX6? or the N# and NX# line in general?

The N4, and now discontinued N5 and N6 are made in the USA. Different pickup configs basically. I believe the NX stuff are imports.

The N5 and N6 were just variations on the N4, and were officially Nuno sig models. The NX6 wasn't technically associated with Nuno at all, even though it's obviously very derivative. It's basically the perfect guitar for me: an N4 with a hard tail bridge.

No the NX stuff is very much the opposite: really expensive USA only stuff.

Ok. I was thinking about those imports with the really small bodies.

I like the N5's.. look sharp but would prefer ebony fretboard.

I know what you're thinking of, but the series name escapes me.

I am with you on that. I am not a fan of floyds or any other similar style bridge so the NX6 would have been a great guitar for me. Why did they discontinue the NX series anyway, lack of sales I guess?
