That combination of birdseye and flame are very nice together. Killer job.

BEAUTIFUL work!! I like the reverse string feed idea - kinda funky and cool, and pretty practical all things considered...

Very very sweet. Gorgeous wood!!

V.

Damn I thought this was gonna be a "new ugly guitar day" thread

Congrats bro that looks KILLEr!!!

Great job! I love the picture progression; Axe Ressurection Picture Diary

Thanks guys, it took awhile to get here, but I am pleased with it.

I got it together, took the pics and then went to bed. Tonight I will tweak it now that it has settled, and run it through some amps.

I was cringing the whole time because I thought it looked very cool to start with. Then I saw the first pic with the blue in the bad lighting and thought "OH NO@!"

Then I scrolled down to see it assembled and in good light and I was

Right on man. Looks killer and goes to show who was doing these killer, figured top, super strats first. There were lots of early Charvels like this and somehow it has become the calling card for other boutique builders and Charvel has gone away from it a little bit.

LMAO!! Same here!!!

That thing looks amazing! I really need to get a Charvel sometime.

I also thought it was going to be a New Ugly Guitar Day.

That came out great! Love that color.

Looks great, I liked the original too but the blue/chrome/zebras looks equally awesome

I know this one is a solid maple body. I'm just referring to how this small segment of the early, trans finish, beautiful maple look has become the staple for quite a few boutique builders. And that original Charvel dinky body shape has been snatched right up too.

Awesome restoration!! I love it...Now sell me that original gold floyd rose   Also, where did you get the headstock logo? I need one for my mutt...

DAMN...that turned out great!!! I almost bought this one from Wayne several years ago...now I'm bummed that I didn't
