My buddy just bought a Splawn 2x12 loaded with the SB/BB combo and damn it sounds good. He let me borrow it while he went out of town for the weekend and it sounds killer with my amp. I use V30s in 4x12 cabs and they sound fantastic. Hooking up his 2x12 it sounded damn near almost as big. Really thick. I'll try to record something this weekend.
 
Amazing cabs! I own the 2x12 loaded with a Scumback M/J 75 Combo.
 
Love mine but I must be the only man alive that hate the SB's. I replaced with one V30 and scumback H75 and all is good. Very thick sounding cab

Splawn Small Block and Big Block speakers. Made by Eminence for Splawn and similar to a Green back and some other Celestion. 55 Watts for the Small Block and 60 for the BB.
 
Splawn makes great cabs :thumbsup: . I had a 4x12 that I replaced the big blocks with V30s and it was one of the best sounding cabs I've had the pleasure of owning. You can get them new for a little more than most other high end cabs go for used.
 
I just found something about it that I don't really like. The front baffle doesn't come out. Sure it has the screws holding it in, but the 1"x3/4" braces that go from front to back in top and bottom corners would not allow the front baffle to tilt out. They look like they are nailed and most likely glued in. Not a big deal, but suppose I got a hair up my but to change the grill cloth? Seems really well made and sounds great though.
 
Been playing with my new delay pedal running in stereo using a 4x12 with V30s and the Splawn 2x12 and damn they sound so good together.
