Which comes closer? The wampler super plextortion or lovepedal purple plexi 800?

Can't really recommend anything, but I can tell you one to stay away from...I had a HAO Rust Driver that was supposed to be a Plexi in a box and I thought it was atrocious. It was noisy as hell and didn't sound Marshally at all.

Good point. Dude's just a small time builder who does custom one-offs for the most part.

I am digging the super plextortion.. then for the splawn thing on it, I use a tonefreak severe for that mid push (compared to the wampler pedals). Got a plextortion coming to see how that will stack with the two pedals above. pretty cool pedals.

I see a few pedals in this thread I gotta try now..
