Squatter's Rights?

My buddy has a charter catamaran and that's what he does. He and his wife just take guests back and forth between the islands, but I'm not paying $13k a week to hang out with him!
worse ways to make a living, but I plan to sail solo most of the time. that pic is a 40' cat, which is at the top end for solo sailing. Fewer smaller models were made, so harder to find. 32' - 35' cat is what I'm looking for.

That google search was interesting. It pretty much states everywhere, unequivocally, that the owner of the property retains the rights. Even with the advent of weirdos out there trying to freeload.
Depends on the state.

STRIPPED RIGHTS FTW!!!!

I'm more of a mountains lakes and streams like of guy, so I'd love to get a motor home and just travel around the country. My wife's parents have one and they've done quite a bit but it's been a lot of maintenance/work so that would be the only pain in the ass. Half of the people that have worked on it to fix a problem have fucked it up and made it worse, from the awning to the air bag suspension.

that's always a challenge; worth getting repair guides or finding sites that talk about repairs, the more you can do yourself the better.

if something goes wrong on a boat offshore, you don't have many options than to fix it yourself.

I'm also considering a sailing trimaran; less room but some fold and fit on a trailer, which can reduce marina, storage and maintenance costs.

I'm building an SLO-100 preamp right now.

:giggle:
The Russians beat you to it.

are BS. IMO

As the actual property owner you have to engage law enforcement, attorneys to file legal eviction process, and monitor your property taxes, etc. i.e., the onus is on the actual property owner. If you block or prevent the squatter from access to your property, you can be fined and arrested. If you wait too long to take formal legal action against the squatter, you are in for an even longer and more costly legal battle....

how is this even possible?

I agree, I’ve seen shit like this all my life as my family owned property… sickening
