SRV & Jeff Beck 1984'

cool, but weird to see JB with a Jackson even though I know he went through a phase back then
 


It was hard to see Beck without that pink Jackson in da 80's & early 90's.

I saw Jeff Beck last night for the Loud Hailer tour. It does not matter what guitar that guy plays, who cares, nor the amps...he just annihilates every one. When you listen carefully you hear how many have ripped him off. In that class of guys that just use the instrument to communicate a unique message.

Later it dawned on me that I could not detect one wrong note all night, consider that and he uses a bar continuously....his guitar cuts too....drummer and bassist are world class, drummer not familiar with but elite. Rhonda Smith bassist is from the past. Seen him with Bozzio on guitar shop tour and lucky to see an early 80's tour with Simon Phillips...nothing but incredible.

Re-invented himself again and covered so many genres last night...had that female team from the new album AND Jimmy Hall, an incredible blues vocalist. Plenty of females in that audience that enjoyed it too. Pretty cool for a guitarist lead band.
