Wanted to spread the love about these guys.
My React IR just arrived.

Only took just under 3 weeks to arrive from Ukraine to Australia. Pretty good with all this Covid stuff going on.

Very well packed with colour manual and power/usb cables included.

A USA adapter plug is included. I have an Aussie one here already so that’s fine.

Very professional.

Haven’t had the chance to fire it up yet but this unit is heavy! Certainly feels like some quality parts being used going by the weight of it.

Awesome dude! I think I'm literally going to buy one tonight, they seem like nice guys. It's down to this or the driftwood and I can't choose..

Sweet!
Yeah they seem to be under the radar being a young company and outside US.

This review sold me:

Features are crazy, being able to go out to a cab and control that volume is killer

I got yesterday to but I bought a shur while I was waiting. I might sell it or keep it. Let me know how you like it.

St rock is the winner over all of them, the st rock and driftwood load boxes are the best I’ve ever heard by far.

Michael Nielsen has one of these and he seems to really dig it. I kind of want to check one out

Looping back on this one, now that I've played it a bit.. it's amazing, very easy to use and sounds killer. Highly recommend.

which part? do you have the unit connected to your pc via a usb cable?
Software won't even start up unless you do that
Yes. I can get it working and load ir but it seems like there is a lot of functionality that I’m missing out on.

How do you load a reverb and get it to work?

How do you load an ir per channel and blend? I got this to work by mistake but couldn’t replicate it.

Sorry mate not sure on those ones.

I would never use this for reverb or EQ, I'd use separate processors for any of those.

Haven't tried a blend yet either, just using single 3rd party IRs at this stage. That's worked great for me so far.

Bumping an old thread. I was close to buying a Fryette PS100, but then came across this. How does the attenuator work? Is it fixed like the Captor stuff, or is it adjustable?

I own both. I’ve been playing the ps100 lately. I never used the attenuator on the st rock. Only used it for direct. I feel like the staff rock is a fixed 8 ohms but I’d have to look. The ps100 is nice because you can mix cab and speaker ohm if needed. Plus the eq settings help.

Point is. If you are using it for live playing then ps100. If you are using it for recording only we can discuss sound differences and ease of use. If you want both ps100.

Could I run the PS100 into a PA for live use? I don't think it stores IRs, correct?

You need an ir somehow. Suhr might be a better option for you. Fryette makes an ir as well but I don’t know anything about either.

Yeah, the Suhr doesn't have attenuation.

Yeah, the Suhr doesn't have attenuation.
You can run the Suhr RL or RLIR in parallel with a speaker and get 3dB, but you likely want more than that.

Best bet with a Fryette PS100 is to get an IR loader like the Two notes cabm, mooer rader, etc

The question would be. how much attenuation do you need? 3db is a lot and if you still want to hear the guitar over the drummer then that might work. Then send a IR to FOH. If you want full control you should just get a PS100 and an IR box of whatever you choose and run them together.

I ordered a PS100. Now I'm trying to figure out what to use for an IR box.
