Stacked Single Coils.. YJM Fury? Others?

In my Strat, I recently put in Area 58 in the neck and an Area 67 in the middle. They sound great. Plenty of zing in the highs, too.

2013 Fender Stratocaster '72 Reissue, Limited Edition (Vintage White) MIJ Japanese I've put in the YJM loaded pick guard in and extra jumbo stainless steel frets.

I got a nice Japanese 60's Strat and I was hell-bent on throwing the Fury set in.. Any others? Not a JB Jr. fan, Hot Rails might be a bit loose. Damned if those Furys don't sound good as shit though.

This is an MIJ JV 60's Modified. It's pretty sick. Nicer than most USA's costing much more!

This is basically the Injector set I recommended above. The neck and bridge have far more output than a classic Strat pickup but it's not out of control. Think somewhere around P-90 type power but that sounds like a Strat pickup. The Area 61 in the middle position is also a very smart choice because it allows positions 2 and 4 to retain the brighter classic Strat quack, and you also have the option to get a more classic single coil sound in the 3 position. You can hear them in action here (modern tones)...

Tone 6 is the most neck pickup classic "Stratty" (4:38)

This is BY FAR the best Injector demo I've heard!

I've got the Fury's and YJM pots in mine. Neck is silky and fluid, the bridge is biting and spanky. They are all wired differently so it's best to get the 3 set. The fast volume pot is a lot of fun for violining.

I wouldn't mind trying Seymour Duncan's latest stacked set of coils.... The Hot Chicken Pickin but even more, I want a Cold Chicken Pickin set.

+1 on the Dimarzio noiseless pickups. The Area 58s have a nice classic strat vibe. You might look into the Virtual Solo for the bridge. Classic sound but a bit hotter and takes distortion really well.
