Steve Morse is BACK!!!

Looks like he's still using his signature ENGL. I have one and it's a great sounding amp.

Where did he go lol ?
Clip-locks are hideous.
I saw him w/ Kansas in late 80's he cut his hair to be an Airline pilot then.

I've watched some great demos of that amp.

His wife had cancer, and he left Deep Purple to care for her. Sadly, she passed away. He also had some bad trouble with his right hand. I think he had some surgery to help with that but I'm not positive.

Dude, you should write a review!
I could have sworn I wrote something up a while back, but looked at my old posts and didn't see anything. I'll have to put something together. The tone shift together with the "Mid-Matrix" thing on Ch. 3 is what really makes the amp. You can get damn near any tone you want and fit right where you need to be in the mix.

Oh wow, I didn't know she passed. Sorry to hear that.

He's a hell of a player, and a good guy. Good to see him back at it.

Not taking away anything from Morse, but you can't have Deep Purple w/o Lord and Blackmore IMO.

Tommy Bolin gets a pass; but since Lord retired and died, that's not DP. Yes today is the same...pale shades of what they once were.

Some bands need to let it go, and stop before tarnishing their legacy.

Yeah, I agree, Deep Purple was done when Blackmore left. I never listened to any DP after Perfect Strangers.
