I think it's a very good album overall, 1 or 2 strange songs but this is expected especially how this album bridges the gap between Flex able and P&W, also you get 4 extra tracks on the P&W album.

I listened to BOP! lol

I actually thought it was pretty awesome in an odd fruity way. I am a metal guy but I thought it was pretty cool.

I also watched the first minute of the 2nd video, enough to hear why and where these tracks came from.

Nothing wrong with putting out some B side action. Vai is a Legend and has more guitars on his wall than my local guitar center.

I just listened to the whole thing on YouTube. Epic old school Flex/PW! LOVE it!

Very cool hearing this stuff now....I'm sure there's a lot of us here who have material they demo'd in the past and would love to re-record it now with the technology we have. Shit, I'm in the process of writing/recording an album that's 1/4 songs I've written in the last 10 years that haven't been done "right".

What I would REALLY kill for from Vai is a total studio DVD, or documentary of past studio footage. I'm so much more impressed by what he does writing/recording than what he does live.

It's definitely cool hearing this stuff done with modern gear. It really makes me wonder what Frank Zappa would sound like now, with audio quality being the way it is.

Very interesting album! Not a fan of his singing at all though, the track with Devin on it is brilliant.
