Dude...that was excellent. Good placement of chorus on that tone.

That did sound great. I hate to admit it but the Axe is pretty amazing.

It took me a while to dial it in because the tones I had dialed in didn't work in a mix. But once I did, I have a few tones that don't sound great on their own but really work. The patch I used on this song was based on the mesa mark iv and I set it up how I remembered my old studio preamp. Then I found some cab sims that work with it.

Nice dude, good playing! Tone is probably a little oversaturated but still sweet!

Great job with the Mark iv model. The 5153 red model with gain dialed back quite a bit would also have been a good choice.

I can tell you're really enjoying the AFX2.........it has totally become a beast of a unit at this point with the awesome modeling & all the great cab IRs

Yeah, it's over the top saturated. Almost plays itself. Im really digging the splawns for rhythm at the moment.

Sounded good! Your solo was good....but I have to say that Sykes Still of the Night solo on 87 is one that has NEVER in all these years reproduced correctly, by anyone I've ever heard....and happens to be one of my fav. guitar solos of all time.

Nice job! Sounds like 1987 to me! Killer track...favorite part is the muted cello type part after the clean arpeggiated part

I wanted to cut out the strings but couldn't without cutting drums. Very cool part to play.

Nice,

I know all about stiff hands, dammit!!

Thanks Mark! Your clips and tone have inspired me lately. I bought my AxeFx from a good friend that bought a new unit from you at the L.A. amp show. He's the guy that also has a Lifeson LP.

Ah yes, cool!! I'm glad you like the unit. It's a lot of fun for sure.

Mark

Sounds really good!

I think you inspired me to give this clip a go!

That's what it's all about. This is rig talk. I'm not going to just talk about my rig, I'm showing you what I can do with it.
