jp 15 7 string proto stolen from namm booth
Ok some lowlife decid.ed to steal the jp 15 7 string proto from the booth. If you see anyone for the next 4 months that isn't john Petrucci. W one of these they either stole it or bought a stolen guitar

Here are some pics

Gotta be smarter than that.......whoever was manning the booth!

Haha wow how is that even possible. No one was watching a guitar like that?

Also who would have the balls to steal it.

Maybe it's an insurance scam lol.

I saw that, Ive been to a few NAMM shows and they never let anyone in or out of the hall without a pass for those things...I suspect an inside job.....lol

Do not like thieves whatsoever, ....but, if it had to happen to someone, I'm glad it happened to Sterling Ball as I can't stand that prick. In fact, it almost sounds like something he would have done just to get more publicity. I mean really, how could you let something like that happen in the first place....dumbass.

yeah, they checked my bag going out.

Yeah man...I've heard about thefts before, but I've been a few times, and in the last 10 years or so, security really tightened dramatically.

I can see something being stolen at load in/out, but day one, straight out of the booth, would be very tough.

Why would someone steal something that ugly?

Petrucci probably stole it himself because he didn't want his name attached to it.

Maybe they stashed it somewhere good at the hall and will come back after NAMM to pick it up?

Anyone with an exhibitor badge could have slipped out the back door with gear. Security was abundant, but poorly trained and they all were very obviously miserable with their job.

Fuchs had an original ODS disappear as well.

The shitheels come out in droves to a convention like that, unfortunately.

Whats up man?? Did you go down with Two Rock?

I can't remember the last time security was that lax. I went on Friday and have gone every year for the past 26 years. You could have walked out with just about anything on Friday.
