I'd like to say Joe Walsh inspired my love for rock slide playing, but I can't. Listening to this still gives me goose-bumps!

I don't care for slide myself but I love old Foghat...the Foghat Live album was great. I saw them on the Stone Blue tour in Detroit and they were excellent.

That brings back a lot of memories
Foghat was badass back in the day

Rod is my favorite slide player!! The most identifiable slide player ever IMO!!!

Wow, I haven't heard that in 30 years or so. Great band.

Foghat was one of THE bands back in high school (yeah, I'm old...), but I got really tired of them - they were so overplayed at the time you couldn't escape it. Having not heard it in a long time, it's "new" and enjoyable again.

I saw them at the Convention Center in Indianapolis with the J. Giles Band in the early 80's. Awesome show. J. Giles flat F'n rocked it, too...

That album was great!!! l never really learned anything off it then, but, now's a good time as any! Dug the Live album, as well!!

Just heard that song on XM radio the other day.
His slide work is real clean and makes a statement.

never could figure out what a foghat was?
slow ride!

Awesome!! Grew up on Foghat Live!!
We just played around with "Fool for the City" this past weekend. Great rock n roll!

Later tonight I'll hoist a few to Rod "the bottle" Price
and Lonesome Dave at the stuffed sandwich in San Gabriel.

Man, what a great band...
