I was in LA for NAMM, and stopped by the Hollywood Guitar Center.
In their boutique room they had a used Diezel Schmidt with matching 1x12 cab...
...but it was only single channel, with one row of knobs instead of two.
I tried it, it sounded good but didn't seem to have that extra crisp tone that most Diezels have.
Was this a prototype, or some weird counterfeit. Of course nobody at GC had a clue
about it. They were only asking $1599!
