String buzz on G string with FR guitar

I have a Schecter C1 FR Hellraiser with the FR 1000 bridge. The G string buzzes and quickly decays when played open or fretted all the way up to the highest fret. I’ve replaced the nut and the saddle for the G string with new parts, but it still buzzes. I’ve changed the strings. I took it to a tech and he did some fret leveling, but it didn’t help. I honestly don’t know where to go at this point. Any help is appreciated!

Already did that, it had no effect. Same with the nut.

If it happens while fretted, you can rule out the nut. There are only a few thinga left in line at ttat point. What height is the G set to? Did you check your pickup height? Is it a loose part in the bridge or saddle that is wiggling when played? If you play it at the final fret and it does that, it cant be the frets. You are left with a loose part at the bridge or saddle being filed too wide for the string sounds like.

Reason I ask is if you are tuning very low, a plain third string will practically always sound like weird warbly ass. The fix is a wound third string

Check out the fine tuner tension spring under the G-String. I had this exact same issue and went stark raving mad chasing the vibration at the nut and the saddle until I discovered the spring tab under the G-String had been bent down enough that there wasn't enough pressure against the underside of the long bolt behind the saddle so that it vibrated. I did have to disassemble the bridge to get to the base of the tab to gently bend it up - but that solved the vibration issue. You could also buy a new fine-tuner tension plate for under $20.00 if any other tabs look suspect:

I was trying to put this into words. Has happened to me as well. Had to remove the saddle and push this pc up under affected string

This may be the culprit. I’m tuned to C Standard and using a non-wound string. I may try a wound string.

Yeah, go up a gauge and try a wound third. I'm using 13-56s in standard C and the wound third works.
