Got a new guitar, Schecter PT USA, my second one, and I love it. However, after we made some setup adjustments, I noticed it plays great, but after stretching the fuck out of the strings--I play Elixirs, which I think take a while to stretch--and then I'm playing a gig, I noticed that they keep going sharp. I've never experienced this before.

I think it could be the nut. Everything on these Schecter USAs are top notch and it has Sperzal locking tuners.

Any suggestions?

Don't overstretch. I noticed the same thing with Elixirs (10s)...if I stretch them like I do my usual DR Tite-Fits, they almost always go sharp after a while. I like them as I can get several gigs out of them instead of one or two, and although they don't sound as good on day one, they stay consistent and definitely sound better after a week or so. There is definitely something different about them though.
I stretch the up the length of the string with the index finger/thumb method, retune, give a wide wiggle at the 12th fret, retune again, done. Anything more and I have the same issue as you.

Yep. Check the nut. Height and for any burrs or grooves.
