I saw this Sadowsky strat on the In-Stock Page update about a few weeks ago. Like a 16 year old losing his virginity I had little control.
It sounds awesome: I never had a bolt on guitar with a mahogany body; pups are a variant of Dimarzio 36th Anniv and they split very very well:

FINISH | Vintage Tint
BODY | Macassar Ebony on Mahogany
FINGERBOARD | Ebony, No Face Dots, 12" Radius, 1 11/16" Nut Width, Vintage Tint
PICKGUARD | None
HARDWARE | Black
PICKUPS | Sadowsky Humcancelling
WEIGHT | 6.80 lbs. (3.08 kg)
PREAMP | Sadowsky Preamp with Mid and Gain Boost

Dude, seriously...no lies, I would have done EXACTLY the same thing. I'm not one to cruise the for sales primarily because I have little control of "when I want, I get" reflex. But THAT guitar is art work in an ax Bro, nicely done.

I will officially claim first dibs, my fellow ski dude.

It's a BEAUTIFUL FN guitar!!!

Sweet! How does it sound with that ebony top? So how many is now that?

The ebony board and ebony top 3/8" on the mahogany body sound great. Very sweet and singing with phenomenal midrange and high end sweetness; the single and split coils sounds are very very classic Fendery sounding.

I'll try to take more pics tomorrow or this week.

How many? Sadowsky....er....uh.....I lost track. Including the basses and eletric nylon I think it's 9 or so.

ebony on mahogany?

dude that looks amazing and probably sounds as good or better than it looks.

awsome guitar

Damn, that is one the best looking all round guitars I have seen posted in some time. LOve the layout as well and where the pup sector is located even.

Congrats!

I LOVE it

But...

In my opinion, the aesthetics of this model would be improved if it had direct mount pickups.

Impressive deck, is that yours? Love the size of the skirt with lag bolts and extra cool points for native stone instead of cement.
