I have a Deluxe MM and like it. But I just do a Chorus/slap back type of tone so I'm not really in the echo territory by very much. Plus I don't use it all that often most solos are either clean or distortion with no echo. Lots of ways to skin it just ask any cat.

How funny... just talked to Brian the other day!

I may have to get my hands on one!!

Great sounding delay and I will have to say that the ProGuitarShop.com demo was 1000000% better than the one on Subdecay's site. Good night that was bad.

Well son of a bitch... The EchoBox isn't playing well at all with one of my distortion pedals. If I turn the EchoBox on with the Plextortion, it turns the tone into a super harsh trebly mess. Unusable. The EchoBox sounds great clean or with my other two distortion pedals, but not the Plextortion.

The bad news is that the Plextortion is my favorite. So much so that I just ordered the newer version, so I can have two on my board for different tones. I'll probably sell the other distortion pedals I have.

So yeah, the EchoBox is unusable with the Plextortion right now. I emailed the SubDecay dude and ProGuitarShop for ideas. If it doesn't work with the Plextortion, I can't really keep it around. :(

It says right on the manufacture's website NOT to use the Echobox with high-gain.

Try putting the delay in your amp's loop if it has one, or AFTER the distortion pedal.

Hey Chris,
I was wondering if you heard back from Brian on this one yet? Keep me updated.

Hey Aaron! Looks like the two Brian's have hooked up over email to figure it out (Brian from SubDecay and Brian from Wampler Pedals.)

Nice! Talk to you soon!

Your demos kick ass. I have a subscription to your page on Youtube.

Your videos win the award for giving the most amount of gas of any demos on the 'net, atleast in my opinion.

Heck yes! Their videos pop up for darn near every pedal I search for on YouTube. Really nicely done clips! Also, their customer service is excellent too. Just bought this SubDecay EchoBox and got it super fast.

Now we just need to get more amp demos from them and I will be happier than a pig in shit.

I don't mean to be a smart ass, but dude, it says right on the website to NOT use a high gain distortion pedal AFTER the SubDecay, because it can amplify noises made by the SubDecay pedal. Me and any other person in their right mind are running the high gain distortion pedal BEFORE the delay and I'm still having problems.

Chris

The guy who actually designed and built the pedal posts over at HC and he mentioned why it wouldn't be good to use the pedal with any significant amount of gain, either before or after the pedal and along with a high-gain amp. Try and get a hold of him.
