Suhr Aldrich vs. 500T, anyone played both??

I haven't played both but I love 500T's in my Pauls. I think it's a perfect pickup for those guitars. To me, they just compliment each other on all levels. Just enough gain, bite, low end, mids and cut. Last Paul I bought had Burstbuckers in there and couldn't get them out fast enough. For rhythm I just back off the guitar volume a hair and crank the volume for leads.

Would love to try the Suhr's one day and I may get the chance if the JB doesn't work in my Chubtone build. One of the few pickups I would still like to try. Pickup wise I'm set as my Pauls have the 500t and my PRS's have the Tremonti's. And overall, I'm just tired of that rabbit hole.

I've had both in my LP. A super cool friend of mine brought over a box of like 20 pickups. He said I could keep the one I like. Bunch of Duncans and DiMarzios and a couple Gibsons. I was looking for a grindy 100w Marshall sound and a good rolled off tone.

Aldrich sounded the best. StewMac 10K PAF style was 2nd.

I used to love the 500T. Just played one again a few weeks ago in a Les Paul Classic I bought. That pickup is garbage lol. I’ve tried the Aldrich and loved it FWIW.
