Just wanted to share that I just picked up a Suhr Koko boost today. I was pretty much sold after watching Mark Day's video demo and I've gotta say after playing it myself I am floored. This thing is exactly what I was hoping for. I have a Fulltone OCD which is cool for throwing some dirt on a clean sound but I was after something that would take an already distorted tone and kick it up to the next level and the Koko does it in spades. The mid boost is such a nice feature as well! I haven't tried it in a band setting yet, but I can basically already hear how it could really make you cut through a mix when you kick the mid boost in. Thanks to the guys at Suhr for putting this one out. I'm loving it!

+1 on that. I got one two weeks ago and feel the same way. It just knocked my keeley katana boost pedal off the main pedal board.

Agree completely, I had a Katana and the Koko is SOOO much better. Kicking in the mid boost on top of my already wide-open PT100 is like switching on the sustainer on my Jackson PC1. Just endless sustain.

Just bought this pedal yesterday. This thing is incredible. I also purchased the Riot and Shiba which I didn't like in front of my Diezel. Tried a lot of settings, The distortion of the Riot seemed processed in the clean channel of the Diezel. I will give it another chance.

On the other hand the Koko Boost is the best booster pedal I have ever heard or played, I just can't seem to turn it off !!!!

keep in mind that the Riot is voiced for a Fender Twin style and or very warm and clean amp... NOT to diss on the Diezel, but I always found the clean to be hi-fi/steril sounding for what I like in a clean. Thats probably why it dont sound right thru the Diezel.

that sounds pretty damn good to me. The Suhr clean is based on the Fender Twin.

The Koko is a monster thru any amp thou...

FWIW, Matt
