I played a Suhr for the first time a few weeks ago. Really liked the pickups. Anyknow know what Duncans would be comparable to the Suhr pickups in that model?

assuming it was a new suhr it could have had any host of suhr pickups in it...your best bet would be to call up the shop and ask them (assuming it was a shop)

if it was a used suhr, and had non-suhr pickups...who knows...

Was it one of their limited editions? Did it have two humbuckers? Any other distinguishing details will be helpful for people to answer the question...

Ah, I thought that the moderns came with a standard set. It was used but stock? It was a Suhr Modern in that candy lime color. Two humbucking pickups. Bought all I know

was it one of the new frost series? (see link)

If so, looks like the answer is ssv and ssh+ pickups by suhr

I'm not sure what standard moderns come with (I guess i only have exposure to the custom shop where you can pick and choose whatever pickup combinations you want). I bet the pro series have a standard pickup they drop in though.

Yes, that's it a modern frost. I'm wondering what a Duncan equivalent to those would be.

Why don't you just buy the Suhr pickups? They offer every one of their pickups for sale independent of the guitars. Just call the shop, get the names of the pickups in the guitar and order them on eBay...

 Just buy an ssv and ssh+ on eBay. Why would you try to find Duncan equivalents when you could get the actual pickups you played for a reasonable price?

Here:

SSV Neck
SSH+ Bridge

The reason you liked the Suhr, probably has more to do with the woods/construction of the guitar rather than what pickups were used.

I want a Marshall sounding amp but I don't want to buy a Marshall.
