killer. I wish mine had a kill switch.

I never really liked the standard kill switch's because that lever you have to play with is weak and can break off especially if you are playing live you might use it rather aggressively. The mini push button is cool since it is very small and you can simply tap out the kill like Morse Code.

I love them, but wish they offered a 1.687 nut width without going custom.

Yeah these have 1.60 on the neck nut. 80's shred to the fullest I guess. I haven't met anybody who went with a neon drip custom but to my understanding Suhr needs to approve of the paint scheme first. The original neon drips and the MKII's have their own paint schemes and there were only 25 released I think for the MKII's. Rumor is Suhr only did a MKII because of popular demand.

Somebody did a neon drip frost if memory serves and it was a beautiful guitar. I wouldn't necessarily rule out custom.

If you guys are looking for a neon drip Suhr is slowly releasing them right now. I'd hit up some stores and place a down payment on 1 or buy one outright. You won't have to wait long.

That would be me. The Frost Drip and Neon Drip together.

drewiv when I saw the frost back on the Suhr forum it made me think that if the 80's shred neon drips existed back then your frost would be the next step in evolution. Or somewhere down that road. Your's is one of the better customs I've seen in years just because it turned out so well.

Well, thank you. I'm very pleased with both of them. I was unbelievably impressed with the Frost when I opened the case and continue to be impressed each time since. Suhr did an unreal job on it. These two will more than likely go to the grave with me.

cool. love the shred drips.

is it antiqued?

No they kept that distinct to the originals which I was glad to hear. Those are very special guitars and the 1st neon drips are easily recognizable at a glance even if you stand them up next to an MKII.

How are you guys enjoying your neons? I know drewiv is happy, I'm thrilled.
