I'm digging the Copper finish. And I usually hate solid color finishes. So street price is around $2100? Are the M3 and M4 models going to be Wilkinson?

Street price on all of the Pro Moderns will be $1995. The M3 and M4 will have the Gotoh 510 bridge (solid saddles and steel block).

I may PM you, but what would be an upcharge, if any, to get a mahogany body instead of alder?
Totally agree - I've owned guitars with Mahogany bodies and Maple necks and they all sounded like crap. Mahogany neck with Mahogany body =Ed Yoon":2p16hqiq said:Also, we don't recommend Maple necks with Mahogany bodies. John and I don't feel it's a good marriage of woods. Mahogany neck is best with Mahogany body.

Well, we can't do options like that on the Pro Series because the only way we can keep the cost down on these guitars is to run 'em in volume with identical specs and colors. These are SKU item models like a Fender American Standard or something like that. The workmanship and the attention to detail is the same as on our tricked-out custom jobs, but we have to run the Pros in lots of 5 or 10 to keep the efficiency up and the cost down.
If you can get a dealer or a group of dealers to order at least 5 pieces with Mahogany body, we may do a limited run like we did with the S2 Swamp Ash. Also, we don't recommend Maple necks with Mahogany bodies. John and I don't feel it's a good marriage of woods. Mahogany neck is best with Mahogany body. If we were to do a limited run of Mahogany body/neck Pro Modern, it'd add around $150 to the list price.
