Best clean channel I've heard (on a channel switcher), and the feedback control is fantastic for changing the feel of the amp. Enjoy!

I would try a different power cord and plug outlet in a different room before I went switching tubes. I had a hell of time tracking down a hum in my rig, which turned out to be a patch cable I had been using for almost 30 years and simply never thought would go bad. But a few times changing out the power cable made things less noisy too.
