Suhr Riot or Bogner Red

Looking for a good drive for recording through a pedal friendly amp. Narrowed my search to a Bogner Red or Suhr Riot. The Bogner seems more versatile, but I like the simplicity of the Suhr and the organic feel of it. Suggestions?
 
This is also a major cost difference issue. The Riot is not nearly as versatile but used is at least $80 less. The Riot is a Marshall in a box for me (modded Marshall). The Bogner can take you from regular Marshall to over the top scooped mids.
 
In terms of organic feel of a MIAB pedal you can probably do better than the Riot. Have not yet played the Red yet but just played the Blue for some time and have played the Riot side-by-side to Tonefreaks Severe pedal. Preferred the Riot slightly, but Severe has more versatility with a tad more emphasis in the lower mids. Both are pretty amp-like though not the best of their category. If it's down to the two for you make your decision based on pricepoint, versatility, and whether you need a boost or already have one that you use. No boost, may consider going with the Bogner Red that will give you that additional sound and playing flexibility.
 
I own both and the Red wins for me hands down. The Riot is a killer pedal,but the Red is so much more amp like and organic.
 
I feel the same way as shane. I also own both and the Riot is a great great pedal but the Red is step above and a clear winner for me, very amp like.
 
I own both as well and go back and forth with them. I would say Red. More organic.
Just bigger and open sounding to me.
 
I have had a Red for a few weeks now.

Been experimenting with using it on lower gain and slightly boosting it, like it was an amp. Works great.

The best amp like pedal ever, right next to a Triple Wreck.
 
My vote it he Bogner red, just due to the versatility of all the switches and extra EQ options. I watched the Riot head to head video with the Joyo version of the Suhr Riot and I thought the riot sounded good, but pretty similar to my Marshall Guv'nor clone.

I have a Bogner red coming, should get it early next week. I was very impressed with the red and blue when I tried them at Sweetwater this last week.
