I like that Riot demo Pete Thorn did a bunch. I'd give that one a shot

It depends on what your looking for. If you need a mean dist. sound, go with the Riot. Both are nice pedals. I will tell you this. The build quality on these pedals is second to none.

Wampler Pinnacle II
It's made for getting an EVH brown tone and does it not too bad. Just a great 80's type of distortion. It plays well with all of my amps and has a lot of gain.

I wanted a Riot but they are on back order until end of Jan which probably means delivery mid late Feb.....I can go into a music store here and grab a pinnacle off the shelf and it sounds pretty good so Wampler it shall be....

Riot is a distortion and the Shiba is a overdrive.

i put a deposit down on a Riot locally. It should be in in the next couple days.
I may not be a fan of Suhr guitars, but man o man do I love his pedals and pickups.
