Tell me more about the dirty bomb, is tight, does it have a fuzzy or sizzle, is it dark or bright.

I want it to play thru clean amps and my top choices are the riot, severe and dirty bomb.
I need it for heavy rock and some metal, i dont really like loose lows.

I'll have a Riot tomorrow, if i don't like it I'm selling it for what i bought it for. $160.

There's a Severe on sale for $130 on TGP.

im very curious what you think of it, if the lows arent too loose i think i would like it, i want it to use with a clean amp.
im gonna buy a riot,severe or dirty bomb sometime this week, i just havent decided which one.

Don't get the Riot... just personal preference you know but it sounded so fake, I couldn't end up selling it fast enough. The clips on the web make it seem as if it were a channel of the CAA amp line but I disliked the distortion a lot.

Yea i saw your thread and dannys comment about the loose lows and he couldnt dial them out, i think im gonna try a dirty bomb, the servere might be cool but i seen a few people on other boards say it doesnt have as much gain as the riot and dirty bomb.

A store near me has this pedal in stock that I'll have to try. But it's an aweful lot of money for a distortion pedal, $270. But sounds like it brings the metal a lot better than the Severe or Riot.

Has anybody tried a okko dominator, im curious about it.

Dominator is superb. It's definitely one the best high-gainers I have ever tried
It has powerfull tone shaping features: treble/mid/bass active EQ + 3-position mid shift switch (low mid/mid/high mid).
The only one pedal I would consider describing as "better" is Openhaus.
